Residents of Millicent and surrounding areas no longer need to travel to Mount Gambier to access an extended range of Services SA services.

Service SA is a one-stop contact point for government information and services.  Obtaining learners’ permit and boat licences, along with the ability to pay SA Water accounts has been available at the Millicent Community Centre but now the local community can access more additional Services SA services

WOOLWORTHS is opening new stores including Big W, and the Masters store in Mount Gambier early 2012. Woolworths have identified 50 positions for Indigenous people. They would like to promote this opportunity of ongoing employment for Aboriginal people in Mount Gambier (and 2 positions available in Millicent (Woolworths) and 2 positions in Naracoorte (Woolworths).
